Mike Bossy was a Canadian born, professional hockey player, who played his entire professional career with the New York Islanders hockey club. He was elected into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1991, and in 2017 was named one of the top 100 greatest NHL players in history.

Diagnosed with Lung Cancer in October 2021 and having passed away in April 2022, the Bossy family started the Mike Bossy Fund to honour his memory and to help increase awareness on the importance of lung cancer screening in Quebec where the Bossy family resides today.

This video was played during an NHL hockey game between the Montreal Canadiens and New York Rangers in 2023, and is used as a commercial for Lung Cancer Canada's Mike Bossy Memorial Fund.
